Who This Is For
Families seeking a high-touch partnership, not transactional advising.
Students ready to move beyond 'perfect stats' into real-world growth.
Parents who value practical wisdom and character as much as prestige.
Applicants pursuing rigorous schools who want an authentic narrative.
Students who want to develop the skills drive community impact.
Your next step
A deeply personalized, two-coach model that treats college preparation as what it actually is: an investment in your student's long-term potential.
Questions families ask us.
If you’re wondering about it, someone else has asked it too.
When should we start?
You can start any time. The best time to start is early in 9th or 10th grade to build a deliberate narrative, though we work with students at various stages of their high school journey.
How is this different from other admissions consultants?
We don't just optimize applications; we coach students to develop the real-world skills that make them stand out naturally. We build upon this with tactical, proven support in crafting the actual applications.
How does the two-coach model actually work in practice?
Every student gets an admissions expert for tactical application strategy and a professional coach and mentor for high-impact skill-building, ensuring a comprehensive growth path. Students are guided through advising sessions with each mentor as they become relevant in their high school journey.
How many students do you work with at a time?
We maintain a strictly limited cohort size to ensure the intensity and personalization of our two-coach model. Our goal is to provide a premium, multi-year experience that is fundamentally different from high-volume advising or admissions consulting services.
What does the peer and alumni network look like?
Our network consists of high-performing high school students from across the country, plus access to former students now at top universities—people a few steps ahead who've been through the same process and can offer real-world perspective.
Do you offer any financial assistance or sponsored spots?
It is important to us to work with students who have traditionally lacked access to premium coaching services. We hope to offer a limited number of school and philanthropic sponsored spots in the near future. Please reach out to discuss eligibility and availability at info@phronesiscollaborative.com.
What if our student is in 11th or 12th grade?
We'd love to work with them. While our model is optimized for a multi-year experience, we do accept students in their junior and senior years. These specific engagements are highly intensive, focusing on rapid positioning and narrative development.
Where do you work?
We operate virtually and serve students across the world who want to attend universities in the United States. We leverage a national network of students and alumni, as well.
What my student is not in high school yet? Or if I'm a college student?
It is our goal to expand our advising programming to support students both before and after high school. Please reach out to us and let us know if you're interested in this at info@phronesiscollaborative.com.
